North Monroe Volunteer Fire Department serves the Sweetwater and Monroe County, Tennessee area with professional fire suppression and emergency medical care. We are a small group of volunteers that want to do nothing but serve the community with integrity.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who would like to serve in the Sweetwater, TN community. North Monroe V.F.D. will provide all training needed from the 16 hour introduction to fire and emergency services to the 64 hour basic firefighter training and live burn. Our departments Training Officer can help you get any specialty or additional certifications you may need or want. If you are interested in joining our team you will need to attend our monthly Board of Directors meeting on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30p.m. We are an equal opportunity volunteer organization.
